I recently purchased a new rifle at a sporting goods store and decided to add a Nikon Prostaff Nikoplex scope. Nikon's scope collection was terrific. The shop owners were nice enough to let me take them outside for a test. It was a great day for trying out the scopes because it was a bit gloomy and the range was adjacent to the forest. Luckily for me, the manufacturer had it on sale.
I was a bit concerned about the price. I bought my rifle for $500 and didn’t want to put all my spare money on a scope because I’m still trying to save up for a premium one someday. I was kind of hesitant to buy the cheaper ones because I wasn’t so sure about their quality. It is important that a scope must be fogproof, has clear quality optics and includes a lifetime warranty. You’ll never know what’s going to happen so it’s best to ensure that it has a warranty. I’ve tried Nikon Rifle Scopes and was surprised to find out that there’s actually no difference compared to the more expensive scopes. I don’t know if it’s just me but I find Nikon Prostaff scopes clearer than Nikon Buckmasters Rifle Scopes. This is mainly due to the fact that Nikon is a famous optic manufacturer and has become a trusted brand for years now. I didn’t have any qualms about this unit for I know I can rely on it. Its new green version is what I like the most.
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the Nikon Prostaff scope. Its price tag was true to its performance. It even exceeded my expectations. The only thing that bothers me about this unit is its adjustments. The scope’s adjustments don’t seem to coincide with the desired direction.
Generally, it is a fantastic scope. It is sturdy and you can easily adjust its variable power. The quality and composition of the unit is exceptional. Nikon truly lives up to its name by providing the scope an outstanding lighting and unsurpassed quality.
For those who took advantage of package deals, you might initially think that you landed on a good deal. However, cheap Nikon rifle scopes don’t guarantee high quality. On the contrary, some people prefer expensive scopes; some even costs more than the rifle itself. Personally, I think it is best to choose scopes within the $100-$250 range. It’s not that cheap that the quality may be compromised and at the same time not too pricey that it will burn a hole in your pocket. This is where Nikon comes in. With the Nikon Prostaff Nikoplex rifle scope at an ideal price, you get a perfect hunting experience.
